Krait Phantom is the real explorer that lost a hardpoint and undersize some optionals to have more jump range above AspX when engineered. Python have 2 clones with same Core internals and minor differences, Krait Mk2 is more combat oriented, with -1 size6 optional but SLF Hangar, and even popular for exploration for his SLF. I usually fly a Chieftain instead.Ĭobra Mk4, the exclusive preorder bonus that only some players have. I went with the Corvette rather than Anaconda for my large combat build. Facing a 40+ million rebuy screen isn't so fun. They need engineering to really shine, otherwise they're actually pretty squishy due to their size. If you're not set up for a very expensive fit out and at least a bit of engineering (first couple of grades at least), I suggest putting off large ship combat. ![]() With guardian sites you often want your ship close to provide missile cover with the point defence turrets. With a medium ship you can often find a place to squeeze in that's close enough, even if a small ship would have lots of options. I don't recommend the Anaconda for guardian farming, or anything that requires landing it. ![]() The T10 is also an option for combat/mining, or T9 for trading. If you're willing to grind rep the Imperial Cutter and Federal Corvette have different strengths. The Anaconda is the all rounder of the large ships. It is however the highest capacity medium trader and miner. The Python is a medium ship, effectively a Krait 2 with an extra C6 optional internal. Post/comment not appearing?
